DetailsWe are all seasoned craftsmen when it comes to making excuses. It’s a terrible—but common—habit. Leaders in the Kingdom of God, though, need to be different. Godly leaders know there is a high cost for making excuses in their faith. They also know that God’s power and promises eliminate our need to make excuses for our fears and doubts. In this lesson, students will read Paul’s words as he urges Timothy to not let the excuse of his age limit his commitment to God’s mission. Students will participate in a fun but convicting activity to help them realize how foolish excuse making is when they serve an all-powerful God.
