In this lesson, students will see what Paul has to say about growing and learning as a Christ-follower. In a game that encourages asking good questions, students will practice learning through investigative questions and talk about how to take control of their learning and discipleship.
Following the Lord radically changes lives! People make 180° life turns or suddenly start doing things that look crazy in the eyes of the world. Kingdom leaders often look foolish or silly to non-believers because they live their life by a different, higher kind of wisdom and lead others to do the same.
In this lesson, students will read Paul’s words as he urges Timothy to not let the excuse of his age limit his commitment to God’s mission. Students will participate in a fun but convicting activity to help them realize how foolish excuse making is when they serve an all-powerful God.
In this lesson, students will study a story where a man encounters Jesus and, as a result, can hardly contain himself. Students will discuss the Good News (the Gospel), how they react to it, and how their life can point to Jesus as well.
