Isaiah: The Suffering Servant

This four-week teaching series walks students through the four powerful “Suffering Servant” passages in the book of Isaiah. Each week reveals a different aspect of Jesus’ character and challenges students to live differently because of who He is. The series helps students wrestle honestly with faith, justice, discouragement, obedience, and salvation in ways that connect to their lives.

Week 1: A Different Strength, Isaiah 42:1-9
Big Idea: Real strength looks different from what the world thinks. Students are challenged to reflect Jesus by bringing quiet, restorative justice into their own world.

Week 2: Is My Work Useless? Isaiah 49:1-7
Big Idea: Stay faithful even when it feels like nothing is happening. Students learn to give their discouragement to God and share their burdens with others.

Week 3: Choose Trust, Isaiah 50:4-9
Big Idea: Decide now to trust God when faith costs something. Students are challenged to choose trust in advance, especially when following Jesus feels heavy or unpopular.

Week 4: A Call to Be Made Whole, Isaiah 52:13–53:12
Big Idea: God saves through sacrifice, not power. Students are invited to respond personally to the gospel and the call to be made whole.

Each week includes: full message manuscript, student handout, small group discussion guide, ready-to-use presentation slides, parent summaries with follow-up questions. The series also includes image files for social media and PSD files to allow for customization.
