It’s common for students, especially those in leadership, to become so busy that they disconnect from God. Some students get so caught up in leading something well, that it becomes a higher priority than God. This is not only dangerous, but it’s a sign of immaturity as a Christ-follower. Regardless of what students are leading—from serving as captain of a sports team to running a Bible study—their connection to God is the most valuable part of their leadership. This lesson is focused on helping students see the importance of that connection (especially as leaders and influencers) and discover ways they can deepen it and stay connected no matter what.
