HOW IT WORKS:

Each game includes a ready-to-use PDF and JPEG version so students can play from a printed copy or directly on their phones. Here's how each one works:

  1. License Plate Game
    • Use the checklist to spot as many different U.S. state license plates as possible. 
    • A Canadian version is also included with provinces and territories.
    • Compete individually or in teams to see who finds the most.
  2. Photo Scavenger Hunt
    • Take photos of the items listed in the scavenger hunt.
    • Some items may take creativity or timing to capture.
    • Compare photos later and vote on the best or funniest!  
  3. Alphabet Sign Game
    • Look outside for road signs with letters of the alphabet, starting with A and working to Z.
    • Complete one full round before starting another.
    • Can be played solo or cooperatively with a partner.
  4. Road Trip I Spy
    • Find objects outside the vehicle that start with each letter of the alphabet.
    • Choose from three themed versions:
      • General: Everyday road trip finds
      • God Created: Nature and natural elements
      • Man Made: Buildings, vehicles, and human-made structures
    • Mark off each item as you go—first to complete the list wins!
  5. Road Trip Bingo
    • Mark off items you see from your seat using the 5x5 Bingo boards.
    • 8 unique boards are included so the game can be played multiple times.
    • First to get five in a row wins—horizontal, vertical, or diagonal!

WAYS TO PLAY:

  • Individual Challenge: Everyone plays on their own and tries to win each game.
  • Team Play: Pair up or form teams and work together to complete the tasks.
  • Just for Fun: Skip the competition and just enjoy the ride.
