On a Scale of 1 to 10 is the get-to-know-you mixer that actually works! No awkward icebreaker circles, no forced introductions, just real moments of connection that happen naturally when your group discovers how similar (and how different) they really are.
Here's how it works: A question appears on screen and students physically place themselves somewhere along a spectrum across the room based on their honest answer. Pick your spot, own it, and suddenly you're standing next to someone you've never talked to who feels exactly the same way you do, and you're across the room from your best friend who apparently could not disagree more.
The questions range from light and funny to surprisingly honest. How messy is your bedroom right now? How addicted to your phone are you? How comfortable are you praying out loud?
Every round ends with a short discussion question for students to talk through with the people near them. The game doesn't just reveal where people stand; it gives them something to actually say about it.
15 rounds. Zero prep. Infinite conversations. Whether you're kicking off a series on identity, building community at the start of the year, or doing some team-building before a mission trip, On a Scale of 1 to 10 has you covered. It works with any size group and requires nothing but a screen and some floor space.
