A fast-paced, high-energy screen game and icebreaker where students fill in the blank to score points!

Details

Looking for a fast-paced screen game that gets your whole room playing? MIND THE GAP 2 is another edition of MIND THE GAP, featuring 10 completely new rounds, new answers, and a fresh new look!

The game is simple, quick, and surprisingly competitive. Each round, students see a word with a blank either before or after it, like “SWEET _____” or “_____ SHOT.” Their challenge is to fill in the blank with ONE WORD that creates a familiar word or phrase. Everyone locks in an answer before the next screen reveals four possible matches worth 20, 30, 40, or 50 points. Match one of the answers and score the points. The less obvious answers are worth more, so a creative answer might lead to a big score!

The answer reveals are where the energy builds. Students celebrate when their word appears, groan when they miss by one answer, and lose it when someone comes up with the unexpected 50-point match. Since everyone plays every round, MIND THE GAP 2 keeps the whole room involved and creates plenty of laughs, competition, and “I almost wrote that!” moments along the way.

MIND THE GAP 2 requires almost no setup and works with groups of nearly any size. Have students play individually with paper and a pen, divide the room into teams and have each team agree on one answer, or bring students on stage for a head-to-head showdown. After 10 rounds, add up the points and see who was best at MINDING THE GAP!

Whether you played the original MIND THE GAP or this is your first time, MIND THE GAP 2 gives you a fun, energetic, ready-to-go crowd game for youth group, retreats, camps, special events, icebreakers, or anytime you need some quick energy and friendly competition in the room.

About this Product
So many great ways to play... • Elimination style (pair off - lowest score moves on to next round) • Guys vs. girls. Bring an even selection of guys and girls up front and have someone keep score. The team that scores the most points wins. • Whole group - each person keeps their own score.
