Merry Grinchmas is a four-week Christmas teaching series that uses the classic Grinch story to help students take an honest look at what can shrink their hearts and how God transforms them from the inside out. This series challenges students to trade anger, comparison, and emptiness for the full, joyful life found in Jesus.
Series Overview:
Lesson 1: “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” shows how unchecked anger can take over our hearts and relationships, and how God calls us to deal with it in a healthy, Jesus-centered way.
Lesson 2: “You’re Cuddly as a Cactus” explores how being harsh or closed off can push others away, and how the fruit of the Spirit grows kindness and compassion in us.
Lesson 3: “You’re a Bad Banana with a Greasy Black Peel” reveals how envy and comparison shrink our hearts, while choosing love, gratitude, and generosity helps us grow.
Lesson 4: “Your Heart’s an Empty Hole” challenges the idea that more stuff will satisfy us and points students to the deeper fulfillment only God can give.
