A bundle of icebreaker resources that will help create a relaxed environment for students and creatively start conversations!

Details

Getting students to connect week after week can be challenging. This collection of resources will help you "break the ice" in creative ways that don't have you resorting to "share your name and what school you go to" every week! While a game will have a clear winner or loser, these resources will get conversations started in a fun way that will help create a relaxed environment for your group.

To save you time searching, we've put together some of the DYM Community's favorites for you to download with a single click.

  • Dope or Nope by David Rutledge: In this screen-based "this or that" game, students decide if products are dope or nope.
  • One Question Interview by Jordan Floro: This resource provides an easy way to celebrate a student in front of the group who normally wouldn't be up front.
  • One to Stay, One to Go Away by Derry Prenkert: Game where students see two items and have to decide which stays around and which ceases to exist.
  • Surface, Serious, Spiritual by Anthony Taylor: This is a great game to move your group into deeper community, greater empathy while having some laughs along the way. The questions range throughout SURFACE level to SERIOUS to SPIRITUAL depth.
