Fill your 15x15 board with as many names as possible by connecting with other students and adding their names to your crossword board. The person with the most valid names at the end wins!
HOW TO PLAY:
Start your grid:
Everyone gets a 15×15 board. The center tile is marked with a star. Write your name (first, middle, or last) across or down through the center square.
Find connections:
Move around the room and meet other students. When you meet someone, you can only add their name if they also add yours to their board.
Build your board:
Each name must connect to at least one other name by sharing a letter (like in Scrabble or a crossword puzzle).
Names can go horizontally (left to right) or vertically (top to bottom), but not diagonally, backwards, or from bottom to top.
You can use first, middle, or last names (feel free to mix and match; you don’t have to stick with just one of your names), but you may only add each person to your board one time.
Keep moving:
Meet as many people as possible and keep adding names! Each new connection is a chance to expand your board.
SCORING:
1 Point per valid name on your board.
1 Bonus Point for each name that overlaps a corner space.
The person with the most points at the end wins!
