With this resource, students in community will engage ALL their senses to experience Easter (and everything that led up to it, from Creation to the Fall).

Details

Doug's Note: "This resource supports why DYM exists! It's a GREAT idea, done in the trenches by real youth workers, who know what they're doing... and now have made it so easy for others to use."

What if students could not just learn about Easter, but also experience it through their senses? And what if it wasn’t just about those famous “Passion” days in Jesus’ life, but also inclusive of how Creation connects and overlaps with the Cross and Resurrection, and still impacts our lives today?

What if anyone who attended would be given space to say their own personal YES to Jesus?

That’s the vision for Easter Experience. All of the creativity contained in this event is a catalyst to help foster that transformational moment between each person and God.

Scene 1: Creation

About this Product
This is a great event in itself, but also a primer to so many other things. Use it to draw in parents or other leaders who are willing to serve. Likewise, if you time this before Easter Sunday it can help pull families into your main services! One of my favorite compliments was from a parent who told us that despite all the years of having their kids have religious classes, their students in one night of joining us as visitors learned more about the story of the Bible and Jesus than they had in all that time... AND, our regular students also thankful to get something new out of what was familiar.
