Many students today struggle with coffin Christianity; looking good on the outside but feeling empty and lifeless on the inside. Maybe they know how to act like a Christian, post the right things, or say the right words, but deep down, there’s no peace, no passion, and no power.
This one-off message challenges students to stop polishing the outside of their faith while neglecting what’s inside. Using Jesus’ words in Matthew 23 and a striking illustration of a coffin, this talk calls out the dangers of living a fake faith while offering the solution: moving from death to life in Christ.
Students will discover:

Justin Knowles is a seasoned youth pastor with 18 years of experience leading students, building teams, and revitalizing youth ministries. He currently serves as the Youth Pastor at VantagePoint Church in Southern California, where he leads a thriving ministry of 150+ students with a strong focus on small groups, leadership development, and biblical teaching. Justin is passionate about helping youth pastors lead with clarity, build healthy teams, and create lasting impact in their communities.
