OVERVIEW:
Two teams take turns sending up a “Clue Giver” who will use emojis to help their team discover a secret word or phrase.
HOW IT WORKS:
Divide students into two teams based on grade, gender, birth month, or simply split the room down the middle.
Choose one of the teams to send up the first “Clue Giver”.
Show the Clue Giver the first clue image on a phone/tablet and announce the Category to the whole room.
Have the Clue Giver choose which of the three clues they will be attempting, and announce how many points the round is worth.
When the Clue Giver is ready start the countdown.
If the Clue Giver’s team successfully guesses the clue before the time runs out, they score the points.
If the Clue Giver’s team is unsuccessful, the opposing team will have one chance to steal the points by guessing correctly.
Give the stealing team 15-20 seconds to confer and choose their answer.
