This four-week series is designed to help students realize that anxiety and depression don’t define their story. You will use Scripture, practical tools, and attention-grabbing object lessons to help students discover how God’s truth speaks peace into anxious hearts and gives hope for better days on the horizon.

Week 1: It’s OK to Admit You Are Not OK
Life can feel overwhelming, but students need to know they aren’t alone in their struggles. Even King David wrestled with deep emotions. Psalm 13 shows how David turned from lament to worship, and how students can do the same when they’re honest with God.

Week 2: Feelings Don’t Define You
Feelings don’t get the final say. Using 2 Corinthians 5:17 and 1 Samuel 16:7, students will discover their true identity as new creations in Jesus, crafted by God’s design. This identity is unshakable, even when emotions tell a different story.

Week 3: More Than a Label
Labels can stick and weigh us down, but God calls us to a greater truth. From 2 Corinthians 10:5, students will learn how to take thoughts captive, tear down negative labels, and replace them with the life-giving words of Scripture.

Week 4: Facing Your Giants
Resilience is built when we trust God through hard times. Just as David faced Goliath with courage, students will be challenged to face their own “giants” with confidence, drawing on the lessons and truths they’ve learned throughout this series.
