This 4-part video series has been designed to address the critical elements needed to make and keep a commitment to purity. We're covering the basics: the who, what, when, where, why and how to live this out. Silver Ring Thing loves tackling the tough topics, and we are so excited to share this resource with you! In this series, we honestly address purity, redemption, porn, boundaries, the Gospel, origins, and practical ways to succeed. BARE ESSENTIALS LOOKS LIKE THIS: Session 1: Who came up with this crazy idea? Why is ‘purity’ such a big deal? Session 2: What if I didn’t wait? Session 3: How am I supposed to actually live this out? Session 4: When should I get started? Where can I get help? Jason Burtt, President of Silver Ring Thing does the main portion of teaching followed by a real life testimony of a young person. Each video is just 10 minutes, so you can let it stand alone or add your own two cents afterwards. Each session also includes three discussion guides (general, for girls, for guys.) The “For the Guys” and “For the Girls” address issues pertaining to that gender in regards to the session topic. It’s meant to provide insight and encouragement (and even used as helpful wisdom to be shared with the entire group). We thoroughly encourage letting each girls/guys group have a copy of each breakout. Designed for any size group, Bare Essentials is the place to start the conversation! There is a virtual mountain of other side topics to cover, and we are working on more. (Feel free to send us requests!) THIS is the starting place where the basics are presented in an easy-to-understand and apply format.
