You’ve probably played some form of a phobia game with your students where they must figure out what fear matches with a certain word ending in… phobia. Put your students’ knowledge and word parsing to the test in this fun either/or screen game that’s all about the things people love. Students will see a big word that ends in …philia (Latin root for love) and two options. They’ll decide which one is the correct answer.

I've been fortunate to serve 20+ years in Student Ministry at the same church, Nappanee Missionary Church in Nappanee Indiana. Over that time I have been able to craft a plethora of experiences and resources that help students and parents in their spiritual journey, and I love that DYM has provided me the opportunity to share them with you. My wife Janelle and I have four amazing children ages 10 and under. I love the Cubs, the Colts, comic books, podcasts, and going to Disney World.

Oh, I have a podcast too! It's all about my story of 20+ years of Student Ministry at the same church, lessons learned and people met along the way. You can check out My Third Decade at https://podcast.downloadyouthministry.com/my-third-decade/

There are plenty of people who are grateful that you do what you do. Your students are, their families are, and your church is, even though they may not say it often enough. I want to say thanks on behalf of them, and model the way we need to be saying thanks to the leaders that serve alongside us—in ten different ways—through this ebook.

Thank YOU!
