Editor's note: Solid message, well-written.

The story of light is one that permeates the entire Bible. This one-off message is one that shows God's overarching story throughout the entire Bible using the illustration of light. Jesus called Himself the Light of the World and this message shows how God sends High light to the world, illuminates that light in His Word (the Bible) and chooses us to go be lights in the darkness. Message includes a great "light illustration" that helps to bring the main point of the message to life.

NOTE: Requires purchase of an item on amazon in order to perform illustration during message ... but well worth it!

I feel like I've been a student pastor forever ... at least since the ark hit dry land. I'm the pastor of students at Chets Creek Church, and have the privilege of overseeing our student ministries across four campuses in the Jacksonville, Florida area. I love discipling teens, creatively digging into God's Word and sharing it with students in a way that they can best understand AND drinking the most non-coffee coffee drinks I can find at Starbucks (Frapps are fam!). Empowering parents and volunteers is my passion. I love spending time with my awesome wife, April, and my two incredible boys. I never thought I'd live to see my kids in my youth group but having one almost in high school has completely changed the way I do ministry.

There are plenty of people who are grateful that you do what you do. Your students are, their families are, and your church is, even though they may not say it often enough. I want to say thanks on behalf of them, and model the way we need to be saying thanks to the leaders that serve alongside us—in ten different ways—through this ebook.

Thank YOU!
