Doug's note: I think this is a helpful, well-written, short series that I'll definitely teach to our high school students (probably around the election season).

Our students are being programmed to see anyone they disagree with as an enemy. This dictates the way they speak of and treat each other. This two-week series helps set the record straight on where our allegiances should lie and who our real opposition is.

Week 1 - Our Allegiance
Week 2 - Our Opposition

This Resource Includes:
• Complete message manuscript for each week (Word file)
• PowerPoint presentation for each week
• Small group guide for each week (Word file)
• Title and blank graphics (jpeg files)

Note from the Author

For an additional third week, I sat with one of my youth leaders with whom I disagree on most political things. We've known for a long time we don't agree, but we still love and respect each other. We talked about how we manage to love and treat each other this way despite our differences. It was really powerful.

There are plenty of people who are grateful that you do what you do. Your students are, their families are, and your church is, even though they may not say it often enough. I want to say thanks on behalf of them, and model the way we need to be saying thanks to the leaders that serve alongside us—in ten different ways—through this ebook.

Thank YOU!
