“Drop It” is a three-week, all-inclusive teaching and small group series that centers on the idea of students “dropping” certain things from their life in order to find the most satisfying life possible in a relationship with Jesus. It examines the life of three prominent New Testament figures who “dropped it” all to follow Jesus: Mary Magdalene, Peter, and Paul. It is gospel-centered and practical, with tons of extra goodies to reinforce what you are trying to communicate.

The theme verse is Matthew 16:24–26:
“If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?”
