Will your students survive The Exodus Trail... or die of dysentery? We're not in Oregon anymore. A video-based spectacle.

Details

What do you get when you mash up The Oregon Trail with Father Abraham? You get The Exodus Trail, a fast-paced, video-based crowd game where every student plays, every round brings chaos, and someone WILL die of dysentery!

Step into a hilariously exaggerated version of Israel’s 40 years in the wilderness. Not the famous miracles, but the moments that “could have” happened. Think camel mishaps, questionable food choices, sand-skiing accidents, and desert survival decisions that never made it into Scripture.

The unpredictable gameplay will create unforgettable moments!

This is a true all-play crowd game: no one sits out because we saved the dysentery for the final round.

The whole game plays in ~15 minutes.

How It Works:
Watch the Video: Just hit play. Each round is fully video-based with retro visuals and chiptune-style hymns.

Make a Choice: Students move left or right in the room to designate their choice.

Suffer the Consequence: Choose incorrectly, and you get a persistent penalty: hopping on one foot, spinning in circles, nonstop nodding, and more.

Stack the Chaos: Penalties stack each round, turning your room into a chaotic Father Abraham-style spectacle.

By the final round, your room will look like absolute madness, and your students will be begging for mercy (and laughing the whole time).

This Resource Includes:

  • Individual (10 rounds + instructions) game videos (mp4 files)
  • Retro Chiptune Hymn EP for Ambiance (mp3 files)

About this Product
We used this game to lead into a lesson on the Tabernacle. Giving students a tiny taste of what it was like to live in the wilderness (even an exaggerated version) led to some great conversations during our small group time.
