Split the Room - Pumpkin Edition is a high-energy Halloween/fall trivia game that gets students on their feet and thinking fast. Each round presents a two-sided question: students physically move to the side of the room that matches the answer they believe is correct. Guess right and they're safe; guess wrong and they're out. Keep playing until only one or two students remain standing!
This game solves a common problem: getting a room full of distracted students engaged and moving in the first five minutes of youth group. It's perfect as an icebreaker, a fall kickoff event, or a fun break in the middle of a lesson.
It includes 11 full rounds of pumpkin and fall-themed trivia (from pop culture to pumpkin facts) plus a tiebreaker round with a numeric guess-the-answer format for breaking ties between finalists. Works great as a whole-group standing game, but can also be adapted for a phone/clicker-based format if your room doesn't allow for movement.
