Dating and relationships are complicated. They’re even more complicated when you throw in teenage hormones, conflicting messages from culture, and sexual temptations. This one-off message is actually two “mini sermons”—one just for the guys and one just for the girls.You’ll split up the guys and the girls and give a different message to each group. For the Guys - Why is lust such a big deal? And how do we get out of the lust trap? You’ll look at Proverbs 7:8-27 and seek God’s wisdom for battling against sexual temptation.
For the Girls - Why should we wait to date? And why is it a bad idea to date an unbeliever? You’ll look at 2 Corinthians 6:14-15 and talk about how Christians can approach dating wisely.
