Note: While this resource was originally designed as an in-person event, it has been updated to include instructions and suggestions on how to throw a Digital Prom online.
How do YOU prom? I PROMise you that this resource will not step on your toes but get everyone else’s feet in the room moving around! This interactive activity combines prom-related and get-to-know-you questions that will have your students saying, “Yes…I want to go to youth group!”
Use this resource to plan a digital prom or wait and play as a standalone 4-corners, all-play group game during any time of the year. For example, you can throw a “Thrift-Store Prom” event at any time of the year. We had the students break out their prom dresses and/or something from a thrift store and made a fun night out of it. This was one of those activities that we did to get everyone interacting with each other.
You'll find an instructional document including a supply list to throw a Thrift Store Prom, a clean Spotify playlist, and more pro-tips on how to use this game to make it a night to remember!
