Dating and relationships are complicated. They’re even more complicated when you throw in teenage hormones, conflicting messages from culture, and sexual temptations. This one-off message is actually two “mini sermons”—one just for the guys and one just for the girls.

You’ll split up the guys and the girls and give a different message to each group. While you’re teaching to the guys, the girls will participate in a small group-style discussion. While you’re teaching to the girls, the guys will participate in a small group-style discussion.

For the Guys - Why is lust such a big deal? And how do we get out of the lust trap? You’ll look at Proverbs 7:8-27 and seek God’s wisdom for battling against sexual temptation.

For the Girls - Why should we wait to date? And why is it a bad idea to date an unbeliever? You’ll look at 2 Corinthians 6:14-15 and talk about how Christians can approach dating wisely.

This resource includes:
—A 2,100-word-for-word manuscript (Word file)

There are plenty of people who are grateful that you do what you do. Your students are, their families are, and your church is, even though they may not say it often enough. I want to say thanks on behalf of them, and model the way we need to be saying thanks to the leaders that serve alongside us—in ten different ways—through this ebook.

Thank YOU!
