Fun is the Greek word that came from the Latin root of the Hebrew verb found in Wikipedia meaning FUN! This three-letter word should not scare us when doing ministry. No doubt our student ministries want to make Jesus famous and real in the lives of our students. The words of Jesus are far more important than any game that can be played. It just might be the game that you play with students that will allow you or earn you the right to be heard. When students see how real you are and how much fun a follower of Jesus can be - they just might listen to what Jesus did for them on the cross.

Youth Group Fun and Games will help you plan some of the FUN within your student ministry. This book is not just a list of game ideas but also a coaching device to help you plan FUN that will include students, Time management of FUN and get your creative juices flowing.

I always thought that being a senior pastor was a step down from student ministry. That of course only the case if God has called you to be in student ministry.

I am now a senior pastor in Chicago that get to have my cake and eat it. I am also the director of a teen center reaching city teens in Chicago.

I continue to do student ministry as a senior pastor and I am thankful that I serve in both roles.

I am married to my high school girlfriend, I have two daughters, 2 dogs, 3 fish and 7 turtles.

I pray that God continues to use me in the lives of people. I truly enjoy seeing a life changed by God.

I pray that I never get tired of sharing the gospel!

There are plenty of people who are grateful that you do what you do. Your students are, their families are, and your church is, even though they may not say it often enough. I want to say thanks on behalf of them, and model the way we need to be saying thanks to the leaders that serve alongside us—in ten different ways—through this ebook.

Thank YOU!
