Kick off the school year with a complete, ready-to-use youth group program designed to help students reconnect, laugh together, and prepare to shine brightly for God! This Fall Kick-Off Sidekick presentation gives you an entire interactive night while showcasing some of Sidekick’s newest and most exciting features.

Welcome students with “Back-to-School Fails,” a hilarious five-minute countdown video that will get the whole room laughing before the program even begins. Both music and no-music versions are included. Then get everyone moving, meeting new people, and breaking out of their usual circles with “High Five 10,” a fast-paced mixer filled with high-fives, low-fives, high-tens, and other wonderfully wacky greetings.

Next, invite students to use their phones to participate in a Live Poll about their favorite moments from summer. Keep the energy going with “Prove It or Lose It: School Edition,” using Sidekick’s new Live Pick Me feature to select contestants right from the crowd. Winners can then choose their prizes through the Boxes app, adding another layer of anticipation and fun.

The night also includes “Survival Trivia,” an all-play game in which every student competes to be the last one standing. Even eliminated players stay involved through special lifeline questions that can put them right back in the game!

Finally, transition from fun to faith with “Shine Bright,” an engaging back-to-school message that challenges students to shine for God wherever the new school year takes them. After the lesson, use Live Responses to let students share practical ways they can shine brightly at school, at home, on their teams, and among their friends.
