The Bible speaks of Jesus followers as sheep. As God's sheep, we need to live in a balance between the pen (fellowship) and pasture (Jesus' mission). Jesus has called us to both gather and go. When we emphasize one over the other in our lives, we become imbalanced, weak, and ineffective in our witness for Christ. All of us tend to live out of balance, either gravitating toward one or the other. When we live in a balance between the tension between both - the PEN and the PASTURE - our lives become occasions for Jesus to be glorified.

Key Scripture: Micah 2:12-13

There are plenty of people who are grateful that you do what you do. Your students are, their families are, and your church is, even though they may not say it often enough. I want to say thanks on behalf of them, and model the way we need to be saying thanks to the leaders that serve alongside us—in ten different ways—through this ebook.

Thank YOU!
