As kids, our parents dropped us off at the nursery. The moment our feet hit the floor, we began to cry and pitch a fit. We didn't want to be separated from our parents, our source of comfort. In this moment of separation, we cried out, longing to be reunited with our parents. We spent our time looking at the door, waiting for our parents to return. In the same way, our hearts long to be reunited with our Creator. We spend our lives longing for His return, His presence, and His comfort. During this series, we are going to talk about how this tension of separation is good for us. It stirs and motivates the soul to seek Him, know Him and make Him known.

Week 1
Separation defined. Sin separates. (Romans 3:23, 6:23; Isaiah 59:1-2)

Week 2
Feeling the weight of separation. (Luke 15; Ephesians 2)

Week 3
Reunited and it feels so good. (1 John 4:10)

Week 4
Never separated. (Romans 8:28-29)

There are plenty of people who are grateful that you do what you do. Your students are, their families are, and your church is, even though they may not say it often enough. I want to say thanks on behalf of them, and model the way we need to be saying thanks to the leaders that serve alongside us—in ten different ways—through this ebook.

Thank YOU!
