Summer’s Coming Charades is the perfect low-prep, high-energy game to kick off your youth group’s summer! This interactive game gets students out of their seats, laughing, moving, and working together as they act out classic summer activities and try to guess what their teammates are acting. It’s ideal for breaking the ice, filling time, or just bringing some classic summer vibes to your gathering.

How to Play:
Divide students into two or more teams. On each round, one student from each team comes up, is shown a “summer activity” on the screen, and must act it out without using words or sounds while their team guesses. Whichever team guesses correctly first wins the round! Keep score, or just play for fun.

Variations:
Play head-to-head for speed, or one team at a time for accuracy.
Use the slides as-is, or add your own local summer traditions.\
Great for large or small groups—no supplies needed!

About this Product
Get your leaders involved first! Have a few adult leaders or outgoing students kick off the first round by acting out a slide. This breaks the ice, sets the tone, and makes students more comfortable jumping in. For extra energy, encourage fun, exaggerated acting and keep the pace quick. If your group is big, consider splitting into multiple teams and running two games at once!
