Scott and Sara were counting down the days for the best summer ever... but so far, it's been a total meltdown—literally. Their family vacation got scrapped, their dog ran off, and to top it all off, their freezer broke and every last scoop of ice cream turned into a sad puddle. Oof.
But hold up! Summer's not over yet and your group gets to be the ultimate friend to their woes. Each day, you'll face three choices to help turn their summer around. Choose wisely and bring joy, adventure, and color back into their lives. But choose poorly... and things might get even worse.
Perfect for a full-group experience, this game is packed with humor, twists, and wild scenarios. Have students hold up their answer by fingers (#1, #2, #3) or by moving to the left side, middle, or right side of your room.
Can your group help Scott and Sara turn their summer slump into a summer win? Time to make some choices and save the season! Engage your whole group as you do!
The overarching theme of this game is primarily the win of making someone's day! This is something one of our student leaders recognized about it, "I like that you're trying to help friends out." They'll think, "I want to win this" not just out of competition, but from the desire to be seen as a good friend to others, even through these fictional characters. And bragging points for winning, of course. The secondary win is it gives ideas to students on how they can in real-life have an epic summer! Give out "sharable" candy, be it Twix or bags of M&Ms, along the way to further the friendship theme!
