The S.E.R.V.E. teaching series provides a practical, four-part framework designed to shift Christian service from a seasonal activity to a core life principle.
Over four lessons, you will establish a "service lens" by moving through key actions: learning to SEE the needs around us and choosing to EMBRACE the necessary personal costs.
Then, the focus shifts to stewardship, showing students how to identify and RESOURCE their unique gifts to serve others effectively. The final lesson, V.E. for Value Everyone, tackles the central Christian tenet of dignity, ensuring service is always motivated by love, not obligation. You will specifically address the problem of favoritism and the reality of burnout, so the effort lasts.
Ultimately, this series will empower students to stop waiting for big service "events" and start practicing consistent, daily service as a core part of their faith, which reflects the true message of the gospel.
