This is a memory game where a set of doors appears on screen, then opens for 10 seconds to reveal unique items. Students will want to study them closely, then answer the questions that test how well they remember what was behind each door.

GAME FORMAT: This is a video-driven game with six unique rounds of images behind the doors, and six questions/answer videos for each round. Every question is in multiple-choice format with four options. Each answer has a colored background behind it.

You will want to decide in advance how you will have the students answer the question. You could make this a four-corners game, where you designate each corner with the color associated with the choice options. This is a great option to get people moving, but runs the risk that people can vote based on where a majority moves, versus what they remember. Our recommendation is voting sheets: This download contains a pdf with four colored rectangles that match the color background to the multiple choice options on the question slides. Print this pdf on two sides and hand it out to every student. They can fold the paper in half and flip to the color of their vote while standing at their seat. If you are playing by elimination, they sit down but can keep voting.

WAYS TO PLAY:
All Play: Everyone starts playing, and you can decide if it’s a process of elimination game, or if students will keep track of their correct answers.

Stage Game: Bring a set number of students to the front for the round. Have each student cast their answer using the printable pdf or by saying it out loud. They keep track of correct answers for the 6 questions, and the most points win. Bring up a new set of students for the next round.

Note from Author

About this Product
• Consider spreading the game over 2-3 weeks of programming! This download has six total rounds of door reveals with six questions each, giving you a total of 36 rounds. If you were to play all six rounds at once, you could be looking at a 20-minute game. Note: Rounds 4 and 5 are harder with more doors and items, and Round 6 is a twist where it’s mostly the same images as Round 3 but moved around in the doors. If playing over multiple weeks, consider accordingly.
