A four-week series on those considered outsiders, friendship, authority, and love.

Details

REALationships is a four-week teaching series that helps students navigate the messy, meaningful, and faith-shaping dynamics of relationships. Each week unpacks a real relational challenge and gives students the tools to reflect Christ in how they live and love.

Week 1 - “Rejects” challenges students to see and love the people who are different or hard to love, just like Jesus did with Zacchaeus (Luke 19:1–10, John 3:16–17).

Week 2 - “Equals” dives into friendships that shape us, helping students evaluate the kind of influence they give and receive (1 Corinthians 15:33, Job 1:1).

Week 3 - “Authority” teaches students how honoring authority is ultimately about honoring God, through Jesus’ encounter with the Pharisees and a Roman coin (Matthew 22:15–22, Ephesians 6:1).

Week 4 - “Love” focuses on God’s design for love and dating, helping students reflect on their identity and how they express love (Genesis 2:15–25, 1 Corinthians 13:4–13).

REALationships provides thoughtful, honest, and deeply practical conversations with the hope of equipping students to build relationships that reflect the heart of Jesus.

About this Product
Use the “Deeper Dive Toolbox” to keep the message alive beyond your main teaching. After the lesson, send the short text midweek to spark reflection, post the discussion questions in your group chat, or share the half-page devotional to guide students in personal time with God. These easy follow-ups help students turn Sunday-night faith into everyday trust and give you a simple way to check in and keep spiritual momentum going.
