The perfect icebreaker: 36 categories of fun, laughter, and deeper connections.

Details

Bring laughter, connection, and conversation to your group with “Most Likely To.” In this get-to-know-you game, students discover more about each other while having fun nominating who’s “most likely” to fit quirky, inspiring, or hilarious categories.

Use this as a one-time game and play a few pre-selected rounds, or use it as a recurring part of your program. There are enough “Most Likely To” categories to last an entire school year (36 weeks). Or pick a couple of rounds to use at the start of each week in a series on unity, diversity, giftings, etc.

However you play, it’s the perfect blend of icebreaker and relationship-builder for any group setting.

HOW IT WORKS:
A “Most Likely To…” category appears on the screen (e.g., Most Likely To Write a Hit Song). The group nominates and selects the person who best fits the category.

Next, that person then has 30 seconds to answer a question related to the category using the provided countdown timer video. (Example: If the category is “Most Likely To Win a Baking Competition,” the question might be, “If you could have a lifetime supply of any three foods, what would you pick and why?”)

Play as many rounds as you’d like. Every round sparks new stories, laughter, and conversations.

WAYS TO USE THIS GAME:

• WEEKLY RHYTHM: Play one category a week to create a year-long rhythm of fun and connection.
• TEACHING TIE-IN: Use multiple categories in a night to connect with teaching series on relationships, identity, friendship, community, etc. (so many options!)
• ICEBREAKER: Kick off your night with a few quick rounds to get students talking.
• SMALL GROUPS: Use it in breakouts to help students open up in a fun, low-pressure way. Just send a few slides to each of your small group leaders.

This Resource Includes:

  • Individual (36 categories + questions + instructions) game slides (jpeg files)
  • Title video (mp4 file)
  • 30-second countdown video (mp4 file)

About this Product
• Try to keep them talking for the full 30 seconds. Each question is crafted to give them more to talk about than the time allows, but if they end early, have the MC ask clarifying questions. • Encourage creative nominations. Don’t just pick the obvious choice every time. • Mix serious and silly categories for a balance of laughter and depth. • Use students’ answers as conversation springboards throughout the night. • If your group is shy, try picking a category that will get one of your leaders nominated first, so they can see how it works.
