In this game full of family fun, your group will see a Bible quote on screen and guess whether the quote was spoken by a dad in the Bible or a mom in the Bible. Featuring voices from both the Old and New Testament, this is the perfect icebreaker for Mother's Day, Father's Day, a message series on family, or some good old-fashioned trivia!
Here are a few ways to play, depending on your group's energy level:
- Low Energy: Have your group play with a neighbor, and see who can get the most correct.
- Mid Energy: Have pairs of students come up to duel on stage and see who can guess the correct answer first!
- High Energy: Have your group stand up, and raise their left hand if they think a “mom” said the quote, and their right hand if they think a “pop” said it. Those who get it wrong sit down, and the winners move on until only one is left standing!
However you choose to play, this game is sure to help build connections, humanize Scripture, and serve as a fantastic launching point for the night!
