Details

Editor’s note: This is a pretty solid apologetics series.

IDK is a 3-week series that takes an honest look at 3 tough questions people often ask about God and Christianity. This series attempts to answer questions that your students will be faced with. In addition, these messages will help Christian students have insightful conversations with friends who doubt Christianity.

In Week 1, we examine the question “How can I know God exists?” We look to Scripture but also to common philosophical answers that a student can comprehend. Key Scriptures: Psalm 53:1, Romans 1:18¬¬¬–20, Psalm 14:1

In Week 2, we examine the question “Can I know the Bible is true?” Here, we look at the historical accuracy of the Bible. Key Scriptures: 2 Peter 1:16–18, Luke 1:1–4, Isaiah 7:14, Micah 5:2, Matthew 5:17–18, 2 Timothy 3:16

In Week 3, we study the question “Can God be good and allow suffering?” We look at the purpose of suffering and suggest some answers that point to God's character. Key Scriptures: Isaiah 55:8-9, Genesis 50:19–20, Romans 8:28–29, Romans 3:23, 1 Peter 3:18
