Sometimes all a program needs is a little bit of silliness. That's where Name Da Gnome comes in. Garden gnomes are sweet little guys and gals with tons of personality. One way to keep them in a good cheery mood is to call them by name. Get their name right and win the round!

You can play this screen game in one of three ways:
• Multiple Choice: There are four possible names for each gnome, and one is correct. There's no rhyme or reason, just fun. Students attempt to guess the correct name.
• Popular Vote: Let your students' voices be heard! Present them with four pre-selected potential names for each gnome, and let them vote for their favorite.
• Nameless: All your students see is the picture of a gnome, and they're turned loose to come up with their own name suggestion with a quick backstory for why their name fits. The host picks the winning name.

This Resource Includes:

  • Complete PowerPoint game file
  • Individual (10 Q&A + instructions) game slides (jpeg files)
  • Title slide (jpeg file)

About this Product
Depending on how you want to use it, this can be a no-prep game or a little prep game. If you play the random version, buy some dollar candy for the winner. If you want to make the game last a bit longer, play the "nameless" version and let your kids lean into their creativity in developing a character.
