Details

Get to Know Me: Best Friend Edition is designed to help students and their best friends laugh, connect, and learn new things about each other through lighthearted and insightful trivia questions. Whether they’ve been best friends since the beginning of the school year or the beginning of elementary school, there’s always something new to discover! It's perfect for any youth service or game night where you want students to have fun and be relational.

Each round has two questions, one directed toward the 'older friend' and one directed towards the 'younger friend'. For each question, both friends should write their answers down privately (without the other person seeing). When the host asks for answers to be revealed, both participants will show their answers. If the answers are the same, awesome! If not, then participants are getting to know each other!

The game can be played competitively by choosing two or three pairs of best friends to see which pair gets the most questions answered correctly. Or you can play by allowing the entire room to partner with a friend. If you're low on time, you can cut the game in half and only use some of the questions.

Feel free to work the room and see if others can guess the correct answer before the participants reveal what they wrote down!

About this Product
• Set the Tone: Keep the atmosphere fun and lighthearted. Remind players the goal isn’t to be right but to connect. • Model First: Have a leader or volunteer demonstrate a round so everyone knows how it works. • Use a Timer: Keep rounds moving with 15-30 seconds per question so energy stays high. You can allow longer if you allow for explanations behind the answers. • Celebrate Answers: Encourage clapping, laughter, or funny “awards” for the most surprising responses. • Tie to Teaching: If you’re able, link it to a theme (friendship, community, relationships).
