We’ve all seen those inspiring memes - inspirational quotes floating around online from legends like Albert Einstein, Lebron James, Taylor Swift, and more.
But… did they really say that? Or is it just something everyone thinks they said?
That’s where "Did They Say It?" comes in! The ultimate test of fact vs. fiction is perfect for breaking the ice or just calling out how important it is to know what's legit!
Participants will see a quote on screen, along with a famous person's name. Their job? Give it a thumbs up if the quote is legit or a thumbs down if it's the stuff of urban legends!
With 17 quotes to choose from, you can definitely customize the game to your group or play it two different times. There's even a famous quote attributed to the Bible... which only underscores the hidden object lesson of the game!
Some options:
- All Play – Everyone stands up! Hold a thumbs up if you think they really said it, or a thumbs down if you think it’s fake. Get it wrong? Sit down! Last person standing wins!
- Team Battle – Split into groups! Each team locks in its answer. Get it right? You score points. Get it wrong? The other team gets a chance to steal!
- Stage Showdown – Bring two players on stage! They take turns guessing if the quote is real or fake. Whomever has the most points wins (or first to three correct answers wins a prize)!
