The 80’s gave us big hair, mixtapes, neon windbreakers, and some of the greatest pop culture moments ever. But here’s the question — can your students tell if something actually popped off in the 80’s… or if it came from another decade?

Did it Pop in the 80’s? is a fast, funny, and surprisingly tricky game where students guess the decade for songs, shows, toys, and trends. Some are dead giveaways… others will have them second-guessing everything they thought they knew.

You can run it as a stage game with a few contestants, a side-by-side battle, or get the whole room playing at once. And if you want to go all-in, hand out Pop Rocks to anyone who guesses right — nothing says “victory” like candy that literally explodes in your mouth.

It’s easy to run, cheap and easy prizes, and works great for an 80's Night, or for any night you want to mix in a little retro fun with your regular program.
