Connection: The Ultimate Word Mashup Game!

Get ready for a game of quick thinking, clever clues, and laugh-out-loud moments! Connections is the perfect wordplay challenge designed to get teams working together, thinking outside the box, and cracking up along the way. Whether you’re playing with a youth group, at a camp, or just having fun with friends, Connections will test your creativity and make for an unforgettable game night.

How to Play:

  1. A team of two is chosen: one clue-giver and one guesser.
  2. The clue-giver receives a Connection, which is made by overlapping two common phrases. (Example: Couch Potato + Potato Chip = Couch Potato Chip)
  3. Without using any words from the Connection, the clue-giver provides separate hints for each phrase.
    • For Couch Potato, one might say: “Someone who sits around and watches TV all day.”
    • For Potato Chip, one could say: “A salty snack that comes in a bag.”
  4. The guesser listens to both clues and tries to figure out the connection!

Why You’ll Love It:

🎉 Hilarious Misunderstandings – Watching someone struggle to piece together two totally unrelated phrases is comedy gold!

🧠 Brain-Boosting Fun – Encourages creative thinking, word association, and teamwork.

⏳ Fast-Paced & Exciting – With a time limit to keep things moving, every round is a thrilling challenge.

👥 Perfect for Groups – Whether it’s youth group night, summer camp, or a family get-together, Connections is a game everyone will love.

About this Product
This game really killed with our students. It made for a lot of laughs. Feel free to be as strict or loose with the rules of what clues are allowed based on how well your kids are doing. You might want to give them a set time to work in, or allow their clue to only be a sentence. It all works anyway you play it, but feel free to adjust it to the level of your players.
