Every student has a circle of friends, but not every circle helps them follow Jesus. This three-week teaching series, Circle Check, helps students evaluate their closest relationships and discover God's design for healthy, Christ-centered friendships.
Week 1: Who's in Your Circle? Students learn how the people closest to them influence the direction of their lives.
Week 2: Navigating Hard Times in Friendship. Students discover biblical wisdom for handling conflict, forgiveness, and reconciliation.
Week 3: How to Be a Good Friend. Students see how Jesus models true friendship through love, service, and compassion.
Each week includes a teaching manuscript and small group guide with icebreakers, Scripture-based questions, and practical challenges to help students apply what they've learned.
Why this resource?
Teenagers wrestle daily with friendship drama, peer pressure, and the struggle of finding “their people.” This series gives youth pastors a simple, clear, and biblical framework to help students evaluate their friendships and take next steps toward Christ-like community.
Whether you have three students or thirty, Circle Check is battle-tested and will spark honest conversations, deepen small group connections, and point students to Jesus as the ultimate friend.
