In this screen game, participants will try to guess movie titles after viewing five or fewer word hints.

Details

The goal is to guess the movie based on one-word hints. It's an "upfront" one. Pull people up front (however many you want) and reveal the five one-word hints per movie:

Guess the movie with just one word you get 500 points (or however many you want to give. Two words = 400 points; three words = 300 points; four words = 200 points, and all five words give you 100 points.

The game consists of eight rounds and the team/individual with the most points at the end wins. Two ways you could play it out:

Option 1
Put the word up and a player can "buzz in" (raise hand, blurt out an answer, ding a bell) and guess. If he/she guessed wrong, he/she is out for that round and the other players continue playing until someone gets it right.

Option 2
With every hint, every person can guess. If nobody gets it right on the first hint, move to the second and let them each guess again. If all wrong again, move on to the next hint and so on and so on. If a person (or persons) get it right, points awarded to all who got it during that hint and move on to the next round. Playing in this version would work best if everyone had a small marker board or something similar to work on.

I only created eight rounds due to the potential length each round went in our student ministry!
