Let's face it: prayer can be awkward. Whether it's praying on our own, praying in groups, or praying out loud with a friend, we often have no idea what to say. And if we were being completely honest, many of us would admit that we doubt the true power of prayer. What does it take to pray powerful prayers, and how do we become comfortable with praying in different kinds of situations?

Rather than awkward conversation, prayer can be powerful communion with God. In this five-week series, students will learn five "directional" prayers they can practice in their everyday lives:

Week 1 - Up: Prayers of Praise
Week 2 - Downward: Prayers of Confession
Week 3 - Forward: Praying for Ourselves to Grow in Our Spiritual Lives
Week 4 - Right: Praying for Our Brothers and Sisters in Christ
Week 5 - Left: Praying for the Unchurched

This Resource Includes:
• Five complete messages
• Opening video illustration suggestions
• Multiple game ideas
• Engaging prayer activities
• Five small group leader guides

There are plenty of people who are grateful that you do what you do. Your students are, their families are, and your church is, even though they may not say it often enough. I want to say thanks on behalf of them, and model the way we need to be saying thanks to the leaders that serve alongside us—in ten different ways—through this ebook.

Thank YOU!
