When Jesus was confronted by a religious leader who asked Him what the greatest commandment was, He responded by saying that the first and greatest commandment is “to love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” Typically, this refrain is summarized by simply saying that we are supposed to love God with everything we have. But what does that mean and look like in our lives?

In Viva! Greatest Commandment, your group will discuss the meaning and applications of each of the elements of our identity that Jesus mentions in the greatest commandment. They will dig into the question of what it means to love God with our whole identity.

Specifically, we will look at the following: Week 1: Mind Week 2: Heart Week 3: Strength Week 4: Soul

There are plenty of people who are grateful that you do what you do. Your students are, their families are, and your church is, even though they may not say it often enough. I want to say thanks on behalf of them, and model the way we need to be saying thanks to the leaders that serve alongside us—in ten different ways—through this ebook.

Thank YOU!
