Leaders Know Who They Are Leading

A great leader understands and motivates their team on a personal level, much like Jesus exemplifies by knowing each of us by name and leading through deep personal connection.

To be a great leader, we can’t just forge ahead on our own. Leaders need to have and be aware of who is serving alongside them. And they need to know the people they lead to lead them well. A shepherd must know what will motivate the sheep to come when he calls. A teacher must know how to best encourage students to learn and interact with the subject. As our example, Jesus shows us that he knows each of us by name and leads us by knowing us in a profoundly personal way.

Option 1: Use this in a Group Setting
Follow along in the Facilitator's Guide and you'll find instructions, time frames, and extra notes just for you. The student handouts are on a separate file; Be sure to make copies for each student in your group.

Option 2: Use this in a Mentoring Relationship or for an individual student.
Just make a copy of the Student Handout and give it (or send it) to the student (all the instructions they need are already there). If you are mentoring a student, just make an extra copy of the Student Handout for yourself and walk alongside the student as he/she goes through this study.
