Our world takes it for granted that sex is just an act—that it's not really a big deal. In fact, even trusted adults in students' lives will encourage them to pursue sexual activity, as long as it's "safe." As youth leaders, how do we counteract those messages and teach students the truth about God's perfect, beautiful plan for sex? This four-week series on purity goes beyond just physical purity, and takes a look at spiritual and mental purity, as well. In Matthew 5:8, Jesus said, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God." So how do we become pure of heart? What does purity mean in the day-to-day lives of our students?
