This interactive screen game will challenge your students to decide which New Year's resolution they would rather commit to this next year.

Details

New Year's Resolutions: This or That is an icebreaker game that helps you get to know your students more as you celebrate the New Year. It challenges students to decide which resolution they would rather commit to this next year.

Have students vote for which New Year's resolution that they would rather commit to next year as you go through each round. Students can vote by raising their hands (left hand for one answer, right hand for the other answer), stand or sit, or move to one side of the room, depending on their answer. If you want to extend the game and use it as an opportunity to get to know your students more, then spend some time between rounds interviewing students about their choices.

This Resource Includes:

  • Complete PowerPoint game file
  • Individual (16 rounds + instructions) game slides (jpeg files)
  • Title slide (jpeg file)
