7 week small group curriculum on choices

Details

What do your student's choices mean for those who watch them? Does it really matter if what they do "gets them through the day?" Besides, everyone else is doing it. If they do something so they can get a grade or get an invite to a party or have someone think they're funny, what does it really matter? It doesn't affect how anyone views their faith or Jesus.

Does it?

In Gray, your students will be talking about how living their life like everybody else affects what everybody else thinks of their faith. Even though there are some areas that they may consider to be "Gray" or unimportant, they really can make a huge difference in how others see Christianity.

And it could mean the difference between life and death for their friends who don't know Jesus. We'll look at a passage in Ephesians 4 and see how following Jesus should affect our life from here on out.

One: Cloudy Brains
Before you follow Jesus, you're expected to live a certain way. Understanding where you came from helps you know where you ought to head!

Two: What's in the mirror?
After you become a follower of Jesus, you're life takes a drastic change! What matters as well is how others see the change taking place in you.

Three: Little White Lies
Truth is important in the life of a believer. It shapes your words and your actions. Lying should be put far away from you because of your faith!

Four: Stupid Teachers
Emotions can run wild if we let them. Followers of Jesus follow His example of not letting their anger get the best of them.

Five: Cough Three Times for "C"
Just because it's easy, doesn't mean its right. Cheating is a road that may work for now, but will ultimately show how little your faith matters to you.

Six: Subtweeting
The words that come from your mouth should always build others up. How often do we use them to tear others down?

Seven: Did you HEAR what they did?
Because of the Holy Spirit's work in you, you are a new creation. Is what's happening on the inside reflected on the outside?
