Help your students explore the life of Jesus with this "on your own" Bible study by youth ministry legend Jim Burns.

This resource contains 12 lessons, each one filled with scriptures and questions that your students can do "on their own" or you can use this as small group curriculum.

This resources allows you to make as many copies as you want and make them available to your teenagers. Challenge them to study God's Word "on their own" so that when they graduate from your youth ministry they won't graduate from their faith.

Family-Friendly idea: Encourage parents to go thru this study on their own as well... and talk about what they're learning during mealtime.

The chapters include:
1. The Birth of Jesus Christ
2. The Incarnation of God
3. The Baptism of Jesus
4. The Temptation in the Wilderness
5. The Gathering of His Disciples
6. The Triumphal Entry
7. The Last Supper
8. The Crucifixion of Jesus Christ
9. The Death of Christ
10. The Resurrection
11. The Great Commission
12. The Ascension of Jesus

From the introduction:
When I started this project I had no idea of the great impact it would have on my life personally. Reading through and studying the life and events of Jesus Christ is one of the most challenging and wonderful experiences in my Christian life. In writing this workbook and looking at the major events of Jesus' life, I am constantly reminded of the unconditional and sacrificial love of God.

I love the old Russian proverb that says, "He who has this disease called Jesus Christ will never be cured." I am convinced that if you seriously study the life of Jesus you will never be the same. An encounter with Jesus Christ always makes our lives different. Sometimes it makes us uncomfortable- revealing to us a life-style grown stagnant-and other times it inspires us or gives us hope. My prayer for you is that as you examine these incredible occurrences in the life of Jesus you will catch a greater glimpse of the depth of His love and the strength of His commitment to you. My hope is that you will fall more in love with this God/man who suffered and died in order that we might be set free.

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11)

You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. (John 8:32)
